DuckerFrontier, a portfolio company of Boathouse Capital, has acquired Versalinx, a global provider of B2B events.
Versalinx is a global provider of B2B events with a unique focus on the global pharmaceutical industry. The company successfully engages high-level executives in an immersive conference experience including plenary sessions, targeted breakout sessions, intimate round table discussions and unique network events. Versalinx operates events in the US, Europe and Asia.
Frontier Strategy Group, the leading information and advisory services partner to multinational company executives operating in emerging markets, acquired Ducker Worldwide, a global B2B research and consulting firm serving the automotive, heavy equipment, industrial, building products and private equity industries. The combined company provides unrivaled market research and executive advisory services based on decades of experience supporting the strategic decisions of more than 700 companies.
One of Oaklins' TMT specialist teams in New York advised the seller in this transaction. Target buyers included traditional media companies, event operators and a small number of consulting businesses. The team also engaged with Oaklins teams globally based on the footprint where Versalinx operates its pharmaceutical events.
