Hass Peru S.A. has been acquired by its controlling shareholders
Macrocapitales SAFI S.A. has sold its 33.33% stake in Hass Peru S.A. to the majority shareholders.
Founded in 2005, Hass Peru is an agricultural company dedicated to the planting, cultivation and commercialization of blueberries and avocados in La Libertad, Peru. It has 399 hectares of blueberries and 268 of avocados.
The transaction was executed during COVID-19 and attracted the interest of multiple local and international investors. Finally, the majority shareholders used their preemptive rights to acquire the minority stake in Macrocapitales SAFI.
Macrocapitales SAFI is a partnership of professionals established as an investment fund administrator according to the Peruvian law, regulated by CONASEV and its funds, where the pension funds invest, which are also regulated by SBS (Banking and Insurance Superintendency of Peru). Its partners have more than 80 years combined experience in direction and management, and more than 100 in financial consulting, capital markets and M&A.
