Connexicon Medical has been acquired by Advanced Medical Solutions PLC

Connexicon Medical Ltd has been sold to Advanced Medical Solutions PLC.

Connexicon Medical specializes in the manufacture of tissue adhesives and sealants for topical and internal applications. The company is based in Ireland and led by a team of experts with significant experience in medical device and tissue adhesives. Connexicon Medical has a technology platform currently commercialized in Europe under the brand name Indermil® FlexifuzeTM, and a pipeline of new products targeting US approval by early 2024.

Advanced Medical Solutions is a UK-based developer and manufacturer of world-leading advanced wound care and wound closure products. The company manufactures a wide range of products and materials that include silver alginates, alginates, foams, tissue adhesives, sutures and hemostats, marketed under its own brands ActivHeal®, LiquiBand® and RESORBA® and supplies to customers under their own brand labels. Established in 1991, Advanced Medical Solutions has over 650 employees.
