Marco is a director at Oaklins Italy. He has 15 years’ experience in advising companies on raising the right funding sources to support their innovative R&D&I programs and the related industrial investments, including technical and financial control. He has worked on mandates in various sectors, particularly in healthcare devices, industrial machinery and the food sector. Key fundraisings he has been involved in include the successful negotiation of substantial European grants for startups, such as CellPly Srl and Dianax Srl, as well as the concession of national and regional funds to highly innovative SMEs, such as Sigma4 Spa, Brambati Spa and Hi-Food Spa.
Prior to joining Oaklins Italy in 2015, Marco worked as a project manager for ITL in Italy, where he primarily dealt with fundraising, reporting, auditing and managing different innovative pilot projects in the transport sector and in industrial logistics, co-financed by the EU and the Italian government. He has a degree in business administration from Bocconi University in Milan, Italy.
