Aleris has sold its primary care operations to Lideta Hälsovård AB

As part of the ongoing strategic effort to specialize its Swedish healthcare business, Aleris divests its primary care business to Lideta Hälsovård AB (Lideta), a subsidiary of Nordstjernan.

Aleris is one of Scandinavia’s leading private and healthcare service providers, offering a wide range of services, including primary and specialist care, diagnostics, elderly, and psychiatric care for youth and adults. Aleris Primary Care consist of eleven of Aleris’ units providing care services within primary care and physical therapy for some 110,000 listed patients in Stockholm and Uppsala regions.

Lideta is a healthcare company within primary, maternity and child care as well as occupational healthcare in Stockholm and southern Sweden. Nordstjernan is its main owner and has the ambition to build a long-term, high-quality Swedish care provider. Lideta includes the healthcare group Mama Mia, Scandinavia's single largest private maternity care center located in Stockholm and Skåne. Mama Mia's activities also include gynecology, contraception counseling, ultrasound, as well as child and adolescent medical practices.

Patricia Industries is responsible for the wholly owned subsidiaries of Investor AB. Patricia Industries builds and develops companies with long-term growth potential in the Nordics and North America with strong customer relationships, brands and organizations.

Oaklins’ team in Sweden advised the seller in this carve-out divestment. The deal is another example of Oaklins Sweden’s strong presence within the local healthcare market.
