Worldwide Camping Holdings, LLC, a portfolio company of L2 Capital Partners, has been sold to Clearview Capital and Vertikal Brands.
Based in Overland Park, Kansas, Worldwide Camping Holdings is an innovative and disruptive product and brand development, sourcing and distribution platform in the high-growth consumer outdoor and camping products market. The company, through its Insight 2 Design division, is an indispensable resource to many of the world’s most successful brands and retailers, developing outdoor product categories spanning tents, shelters, portable furniture, sleeping bags, portable lighting and more. The company also markets products through DTC e-commerce and wholesale channels under its high-velocity CORE® Equipment and Firefly! Outdoor Gear™ brands.
Clearview Capital is a leading Connecticut-based private equity investment firm and acquired Worldwide Camping through Vertikal Brands, a holding company established to pursue the consolidation of premium brands in the outdoor industry.
L2 Capital is a Pennsylvania-based private investment firm that provides flexible capital solutions to entrepreneurs and other business leaders seeking to grow their companies over an extended period of time.
