Ronan Brophy

Associate Director

Ronan is an associate director at Oaklins Smith & Williamson, one of Oaklins’ member firms in the UK. He has extensive experience in mid-market corporate finance advisory projects encompassing fundraisings, mergers and acquisitions and strategic advice for a client base drawn across a range of sectors. Recent sell-side deals include the sale of RAP International to Yokogawa Electric Corporation, a multi-billion turnover Japanese-listed business, and the disposal of Horwood Homewares to the Indian conglomerate TTK Group.

Ronan joined the firm in 2014 from BDO LLP, where he trained as a chartered accountant and worked across a portfolio of BDO’s international clients. Ronan studied engineering at University College Dublin and worked as a civil engineer for a number of years.
