Senior Associate

Willem is a senior associate at Oaklins KBC Securities in Belgium. He advises on M&A transactions as well as ECM deals, including IPOs, ABOs, rights issues and public takeover bids. Notable deals he has advised on include the sale of the Cotting Group to Duroc AB and the sale of Lodewijckx to Van Beek Group.

Before joining the firm in 2016, Willem worked as a middle office analyst at AXA Bank Europe, where he was responsible for hedge accounting, valuations and P&L reporting of dealing room activities. He received his master's in commercial engineering from Ghent University and is a CFA charterholder.
