Taiji Yamamoto

Managing Director

Taiji is a managing director at SXA, Oaklins’ member firm in Japan. He co-leads the financial advisory division and, over the last few years, he has acted as an exclusive financial advisor on a number of deals, including the acquisition of RaySpec Ltd by Polatechno Co.,Ltd. and the acquisition of MagArray by private investors, both in the TMT sector.

Taiji started his career at Goldman Sachs’ investment banking division, then moved to its principal investment team. Later, he joined one of the largest private equity funds, Lone Star Fund, before joining SXA. Taiji has a degree from Kyoto University’s Faculty of Economics and an MBA from Osaka University’s Graduate School of Economics.
