Philippe Desomberg

Philippe is a managing director at Oaklins KBC Securities in Belgium, with over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry as a corporate banker and M&A advisor. Selected recent transactions include the sale of a minority stake in Automation & Robotics to the management and SRIW, the sale of Jacques Remy et fils to private investors and the sale of Vcomm to the French group Koesio.

Philippe started his career in 1989 at Banque Bruxelles Lambert (which became ING), where he served as agency director, SME credit expert and senior corporate relations officer. In 2008, he moved to CBC (KBC’s subsidiary in the French part of Belgium) as senior corporate relations officer, becoming head of corporate finance in 2016. He joined Oaklins KBC Securities in 2021. Philippe has a master’s degree in applied economics from UCL Mons.
