Iridium Technology LLC has been acquired by Polaris Venture Partners, Inc.
The founding shareholders of Iridium Technology LLC have sold a stake in the company to Polaris Venture Partners, Inc. Financial details have not been disclosed.
Founded in 2009 by Tom Jones and Martin Vizner and based in Reno, Nevada, Iridium Technology provides a software platform for law firms to get access to actionable business intelligence and analytics, and drive financial performance improvement and workflow efficiencies via a suite of modules that connect disparate data sources within the law firm.
Polaris Venture Partners is a private equity and venture capital firm specializing in seed, early stage and first round investments in middle-market companies. The firm also participates in recapitalizations, liquidity, leveraged buy-outs, emerging growth, expansion, growth capital and minority growth equity investments. Polaris Venture Partners typically invests in the technology, energy, healthcare, life sciences, business services and consumer sectors.
Oaklins' team in Cleveland served as the exclusive financial advisor to Iridium Technology on its strategic investment from the Polaris Growth Fund, an affiliate fund of Polaris Venture Partners.
