Grão de Ouro has been acquired by Aqua Capital
The private shareholders of Grão de Ouro have sold the company to Aqua Capital.
Founded in 2004, Grão de Ouro operates in the agricultural inputs distribution segment in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil, selling pesticides, seeds, soil fertilizers and other specialties. Distribution channels include eight stores, more than 70 sales consultants and one wholesale unit, which are responsible for serving all customer profiles in the region, such as producers, other distributors and cooperatives.
Aqua Capital is an independent private equity firm focusing on growth investments in mid-market companies throughout the Brazilian and South American agribusiness value chain.
