Janitza electronics GmbH has acquired DIGIMONDO GmbH
Janitza electronics GmbH has acquired a majority stake in DIGIMONDO GmbH. DIGIMONDO’s niotix platform is a natural complement to Janitza’s GridVis® grid visualization software. Combined, the two solutions offer a comprehensive and seamlessly integrated view of all energy-related data. For Janitza, the acquisition represents a key milestone on its journey from a pure measurement device manufacturer to a full-spectrum solutions provider.

The company’s core product, niotix, is a multi-tenant, cloud-native IoT data hub that consolidates sensor data from a variety of transmission technologies, visualizes it in dashboards and integrates seamlessly with existing enterprise systems such as SAP. DIGIMONDO operates as a technology enabler between data collection hardware, including meters and sensors, and utilities’ control or billing systems, delivering real-time monitoring, grid transparency, predictive maintenance capabilities and regulatory compliance support. To date, the company has successfully completed over 100 IoT projects and serves more than 60 municipal utilities and industrial clients across Germany and the broader DACH region. In addition to energy grid operators, its customer base includes smart city initiatives, industrial enterprises and public infrastructure providers.
