Enrique Aponte

Analyst

Enrique is an analyst at Oaklins Canada, where he contributes to the firm’s business development initiatives and supports the execution of sell-side and buy-side M&A and corporate finance mandates. His role involves identifying and researching potential acquisition opportunities, conducting company and industry analysis, and assisting in the preparation of client materials, such as presentations, pitch books and financial analyses.

Before joining Oaklins, Enrique completed a year-long internship at Valsoft Corporation, where he focused on sourcing acquisition targets, conducting preliminary assessments of potential targets’ characteristics and strategic fit, and reaching out to company owners as part of the firm’s acquisition strategy. Enrique has a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University, with a major in finance and a minor in computer science. He has successfully passed Level II of the CFA (chartered financial analyst) Program.
