XTEL has been acquired by Kantar Retail

The private shareholders of XTEL have sold the company to Kantar Retail, part of the Kantar Group of WPP. Financial details of this transaction have not been disclosed.

Founded in 1991, XTEL is a leading Italian provider of sales processes automation solutions (SFA and TPM/TPO) to the consumer goods industry in Europe. As part of Kantar Retail within WPP, XTEL will further enhance its leadership in the consumer goods marketplace by combining the company’s industry expertise and state-of-the-art solutions with Kantar and WPP’s global reach, consulting practices and complementary industry applications. The combination will create a powerful offer in the market and a platform to develop new integrated solutions across sales planning, pricing, promotion and assortment optimization, category management and retail execution.

Kantar Retail, headquartered in London and part of the Kantar Group of WPP, is a leading marketing and communication, and retail and shopper data analytics and consulting business.
