Infradata has sold a stake to Waterland Private Equity

The Founder and CEO of Infradata who owed 85% and a minority shareholder with a 15% stake in the company, have sold Infradata to Waterland Private Equity. The Founder and the minority shareholder reinvested part of their proceeds so that they now have a 32.5% and 7.5% stake in the Newco, respectively. Waterland Private Equity has effectively acquired a 54.4% stake in the Newco and the remaining 5.6% is owned by management of the Belgium and Poland operation and key employees.

Infradata is a network and security integrator with operations in the Netherlands, Belgium and Poland, serving clients throughout Europe. Infradata’s service portfolio includes network infrastructure solutions (routing and switching), network security solutions (firewalling and anti-DDoS) and network services (RADIUS and IP address management). The company’s clients have in common that their network infrastructure is mission-critical. The company's clients include telecom, network infrastructure, payment service and online game providers.

Waterland Private Equity is a Netherlands-based private equity firm with a focus on medium-sized companies that operate in growth markets. Waterland targets initial investment opportunities in the Benelux, Germany, Austria, Poland and Switzerland.
