The shareholders of CWS Industries (Mfg) Corp. have sold its subsidiary LANTEC Winch & Gear Inc. to Tulsa Winch Group, an operating company within the material handling platform of Dover Corporation’s (NYSE: DOV) industrial Ppoducts segment.
LANTEC Winch & Gear Inc. designs, manufactures and customizes niche premium-quality winches, hoists, planetary gear drives, brakes and clutches for the offshore drilling, oil and natural gas, construction and marine industries. The company competes in the markets it serves by offering superior service, and design and application knowledge to each of its customers. The company is based in British Columbia, Canada.
Based in Oklahoma, USA, Tulsa Winch Group is a worldwide leader in the manufacture of winch, gearbox and load monitoring systems serving the infrastructure, onshore oil and gas, utility, towing and recovery and marine markets. It is comprised of five companies that produce industry-specific geared and electronic solutions, including Tulsa Winch, Inc., dp Manufacturing, Inc., Greer Company, Pullmaster Winch Corporation, and now LANTEC.
CWS Industries (Mfg) Corp. designs, engineers, and manufactures cabs, conversions, and attachments for heavy machinery. The company’s products include buckets, thumbs, couplers, grapples, dozers and crawlers, rakes, removals, cable reelers, tire manipulators, guarding packages, rippers, logging attachments, blades, forks, moldboards, arches, dual-tilt cylinders, cushion dozers, parallel rippers, bulk scoops, snow wings, liners, and machine conversions.
