Quatech Inc. has been acquired by B&B Electronics

DPAC Technologies Corporation has announced the sale of its wholly owned subsidiary Quatech Inc. to B&B Electronics Manufacturing Company Inc., a portfolio company of Graham Partners, for an undisclosed consideration.

Quatech Inc. designs and markets enterprise and industrial grade wireless device networking solutions that allow OEMs to embed Wi-Fi modules into their product designs. The company’s products are used in an array of machine-to-machine (M2M) applications and end-markets, including retail point of sale, healthcare, transportation, industrial automation and homeland security markets, among others.

B&B Electronics is an engineering and manufacturing company that produces devices to network machines in rigorous industrial and commercial environments. The company's networking products are designed specifically for rugged industrial environments and allow multiple technology interfaces (Ethernet, USB, wireless, serial, etc.) to operate within a network.
