Case study

Isilinx-IsiConneXion has been acquired by Eurofiber

The shareholders of Isilinx and IsiConneXion have sold the companies to Eurofiber for an undisclosed consideration.

Isilinx owns and operates a 500 km-long open fiber network in Limburg, where it is the market leader. IsiConneXion is one of the internet service providers offering its services on the Isilinx network. The companies serve educational, governmental, healthcare as well as corporate clients with often multiple locations and a demand for high bandwidth and high availability connectivity.

Eurofiber owns and operates a 14,000 km-long open fiber network in the Netherlands, with connections to Belgium and Germany. It provides an open infrastructure in the form of dark fiber and ethernet connectivity. Eurofiber is owned by private equity firm Doughty Hanson and Dik Wessels’ investment vehicle, Reggeborgh.

Oaklins' team in the Netherlands advised the seller in this transaction.
