Global Power Equipment Group Inc has acquired Hetsco, Inc.

Global Power Equipment Group Inc. (Global Power) has acquired 100% of Hetsco, Inc. for US$32.5 million.

Global Power, with revenues of over US$450 million, is a design, engineering and manufacturing firm providing a broad array of equipment and services to the global power infrastructure, energy and process industries.

Hetsco is a leading global provider of mission critical brazed aluminum heat exchanger repair, maintenance and safety services to the industrial gas, liquefied natural gas and petrochemical industries. The addition of Hetsco's life cycle services broadens Global Power's reach into industrial gas and oil and gas markets.

The program offered liquidity optionality to the exiting shareholder, as well as other minority shareholders looking forward to crystallizing some value. Sibelco is delighted to pursue with its ambitious mid-term growth plan thanks to a refocused shareholder register and the support of the founding families.
