Resolution Property has sold a majority stake to Shanghai Fosun Industrial Inv.

The private shareholders of Resolution Property have sold a majority stake in the company to Shanghai Fosun Industrial Investment Co Ltd for an undisclosed consideration.

Resolution Property is a leading European real estate investor across most sectors of the property market. Established in 1998, the firm is focused on investments in traditional real estates, including UK and continental European retail, London offices and select UK and continental European residential properties.

Shanghai Fosun Industrial Investment Co Ltd is a Chinese conglomerate founded in 1992 in Shanghai. Fosun is a large-scale group which places importance on China's growth momentum. Its operating activities include insurance, industrial operations, investment and asset management.

Oaklins Cavendish, based in the UK, advised the seller in this transaction.
