Communicorp has been acquired by Bauer Media Group
The owner of Communicorp has sold the company to Bauer Media Group.
Communicorp, Ireland’s largest commercial radio group with a market-leading portfolio, has a weekly audience of more than 1.75 million and plays a vital role in providing news, music, entertainment and sports. The group comprises of Ireland’s only two national commercial radio stations, Today FM and Newstalk, alongside local stations, Spin 1038 and 98FM in Dublin, and Spin Southwest in Limerick, as well as the leading digital radio sports station Off The Ball, digital audio exchange audioXI and aggregated listening platform GoLoud.
Bauer Media Group is Europe’s leading digital commercial radio broadcaster and audio operator. Experts in the power of sound, the company reaches over 57 million listeners weekly through its market-leading broadcast radio, online services and podcasts. Spanning eight countries – UK, Ireland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Poland and Slovakia, Bauer Media Audio owns leading brands, including KISS, Mix Megapol, Absolute Radio, Magic Radio, Radio Norge, Radio Expres, Radio Nova, Radio 100, Today FM, Newstalk and RMF.
