Smile Invest has secured debt financing for the acquisition of RB+ Groep

Smile Invest has successfully acquired a majority stake in RB+ Groep, a specialist in comprehensive fire prevention solutions operating under the brands Van der Aa, Firejob and Preficon Europe, with a strong focus on constructional fire prevention. This transaction supports RB+’s growth ambitions and enables the company to expand into adjacent and international markets.

RB+ specializes in the design, production, installation and maintenance of passive structural fire protection for residential and non-residential renovation and new construction projects. The company offers end-to-end solutions that ensure optimal fire safety for buildings across sectors such as healthcare, utilities and residential housing. RB+ is known in the market through its brands Van der Aa, Firejob and Preficon, and serves the entire value chain of passive fire protection. Supported by innovative digital solutions, RB+ delivers complex and demanding projects that comply with increasingly stringent installation and documentation regulations for structural fire protection. Clients recognize RB+ as both a knowledge center and a pragmatic partner in the design and execution of highly complex challenges.
