Homecare Independent Living Grp has been acquired by Allied Healthcare Group Limited
Allied Healthcare Group Limited, the listed UK-based healthcare staffing service provider, has acquired a 50.1% stake in Homecare Independent Living Group (Homecare), the Northern Ireland-based provider of social care to the elderly, physically disabled and mentally disabled, for a total consideration of US$ 5.67million.

Allied Healthcare Group is one of UK's leading providers of domiciliary care and healthcare staffing services. From its community-based network of over 110 branches, it is able to combine the strength of a national organization with the local availability of fully trained care workers, registered nurses, healthcare assistants and support workers, to local authorities, primary care trusts, private individuals, industry, residential care homes and hospitals.
The acquisition will enable Allied Healthcare to strengthen its market position in Northern Ireland and expand its hold in the Republic of Ireland market.
