Community Waste Recycling Ltd. has been acquired by Viridor Waste Management Limited
The shareholders of Community Waste Recycling Ltd. have sold the company to Viridor Waste Management Limited (Viridor) for US$24.4 million.

Oaklins Cavendish, based in the UK, advised the shareholders of Community Waste Recycling on the sale process following a number of unsolicited approaches from parties wishing to acquire the business. The team then began a competitive sale process approaching both UK and overseas buyers. Viridor was selected as the preferred buyer as it met all the key goals of the shareholders in terms of deal value, ongoing roles for management and staff and future development of the business.
