Chris Malcolm

Chris is a partner at Oaklins Cavendish, one of Oaklins’ member firms in the UK, where he is co-head of technology. With over 16 years’ experience covering the global technology, media and telecommunications space, he has advised clients on mergers and acquisitions, disposals and capital raisings worth in excess of US$25 billion. Chris also has extensive experience in working with non-technology focused corporates on evaluating and acquiring technology companies across a range of industries, such as FMCG, industrials and financial services. He has worked with strategic clients all the way through the growth process, from debt and equity raising for startups to working with multinational strategic operators and private equity buyers on global opportunities. His recent M&A activity includes advising Inflexion on the buy-side of Wood Thilsted, and the sell-side transactions of Intelling and Systal Technology.

Prior to joining Oaklins Cavendish in 2019, Chris held advisory roles at institutions such as Societe Generale, Nomura and Lehman Brothers. Between 2017 and 2018 Chris also acted as CFO at Scoop Retail Technologies. Chris has an MSc in Economics and Finance from the University of Warwick and a BSc in Economics from the University of Bath.
