Spuntini has acquired Bella Sicilia
The Italian food and beverage distributor, Bella Sicilia, has been acquired by Spuntini. With the integration of Bella Sicilia, Spuntini hopes to further develop and expand its Italian product offering. The two businesses are very aligned, and their geographical reach is complementary.
Bella Sicilia is a well-known Italian food and beverage importer and distributor operating in Belgium and Northern France. It is a second generation family business that has over 200 premium brands in its portfolio. Bella Sicilia offers more than 1,700 references of locally sourced premium Italian products to over 1,100 clients every year. Due to its exclusive partnerships with long-lasting suppliers and a very diversified customer base, Bella Sicilia has a steady revenue stream with high EBITDA margins surpassing industry norms.
Spuntini is a family business that has specialized in the distribution of fresh, ultra-fresh and frozen products for over 35 years. Its main customers are hotels, restaurants and catering businesses (HoReCa), as well as fast food enterprises in Belgium and France. The company offers over 20,000 product references from world-renowned brands to its customers.
