Joni Pitkäranta

Partner

Joni is a partner at Oaklins Finland and leads Oaklins’ enterprise SaaS team. He has extensive experience in corporate finance and strategy, especially in new business creation and value building. Joni’s expertise covers a wide range of sectors, with a particular focus on TMT. The most notable clients he has advised recently include Verkkokauppa.com, Posti Group, Solteq, Siili and Elisa.

Prior to joining Oaklins, Joni worked on strategic and M&A advisory at Deloitte Finland, where he led the emerging growth companies segment. He also spent six years as an associate partner with Gearshift Group, a Finnish corporate finance and management consulting boutique specialized in the technology sector in the Nordics. Before that, Joni was in multiple roles and part of numerous strategic situations in both the corporate and technology startup worlds. He has a master’s degree in economics and business administration from the University of Tampere.
