Geert Damman

Director

Geert is a director at Oaklins Debt Advisory, part of Oaklins Netherlands, where he focuses on private equity-related transactions. With over 12 years of wholesale banking experience, he brings a broad understanding of leveraged finance and corporate banking in the Netherlands and internationally. He has worked across a wide range of sectors and debt instruments, and has structured and executed bilateral, club, syndicated and high-yield financing solutions. Notable transactions include OLB-backed acquisition financing for Smile Invest’s acquisition of RB+ Groep; FOLO financing arranged with Allianz GI and ING for Gimv’s acquisition of Hemink; and the triple-track stapled financing supporting Main Capital Partners’ acquisition of CarWise and AutoDisk, with funding ultimately provided by Ares, the first transaction of its kind in Europe.

Prior to joining Oaklins in 2024, Geert worked at Rabobank in leveraged lending as well as in domestic and international financial restructuring and recovery (FR&R) teams. He has a master’s degree in real estate management & development from Technical University, Eindhoven and an Executive MBA from Erasmus University, Rotterdam.
