Noritsu Koki Co., Ltd has acquired AlphaTheta Corporation from KKR PDJ Investment L.P., an investment vehicle established by KKR and Pioneer Corporation.

Noritsu Koki Co. is a holding company (TSE 1st section-listed) whose subsidiaries engage in manufacturing and healthcare businesses, internationally.

Headquartered in Japan, AlphaTheta (ex-Pioneer DJ) develops and sells DJ equipment and professional audio speakers.

KKR PDJ Investment L.P. is an investment vehicle established by KKR, a leading global investment firm that manages multiple alternative asset classes, and Pioneer Corporation, engaged in the manufacture of telephone and telegraph equipment. The company is also involved in the production of electronic valves and tubes, and other electronic components.

Oaklins’ team in Japan acted as joint financial advisor to Noritsu Koki Co., Ltd in this transaction.
