DRYFT Sciences has been acquired by British American Tobacco

The shareholders of DRYFT Sciences, LLC (DRYFT) have sold its nicotine pouch product assets to the US business of British American Tobacco plc (BAT) (LSE: BATS), a global provider of tobacco and next-generation alternative nicotine products.

Headquartered in Moorpark, California, DRYFT is dedicated to providing adult consumers with innovative nicotine alternatives to traditional tobacco products. The company is responsible for the operations, marketing and manufacturing of DRYFT nicotine pouch products globally.

Founded in 1902, BAT is a global tobacco group with brands sold in more than 200 markets. It employs more than 50,000 people worldwide and has over 200 brands in its portfolio. BAT has market-leading positions in at least 55 markets around the world.
