GEISER Nutzfahrzeuge has been acquired by LARAG Group
The shareholders of GEISER Nutzfahrzeuge AG have sold the company to LARAG Group.
GEISER Nutzfahrzeuge emerged in 2012 from the former truck service department of GEISER agro.com ag, a trading and logistics company specializing in agricultural products. The company is a trusted service partner of Mercedes-Benz and service point for Thermo King and other transport refrigeration equipment companies. GEISER Nutzfahrzeuge has approximately 25 employees.
LARAG’s history dates back to 1950, when its core business already included repairs and overhauls of all types of trucks. Today, LARAG offers a full range of high-quality services for heavy and light commercial vehicles, motorhomes and vans – from the sale of new vehicles, repairs and accident repairs to vehicle construction. The company has seven locations and employs around 530 people.
Oaklins’ team in Switzerland supported the owners of GEISER Nutzfahrzeuge AG during the entire sale process as exclusive M&A advisors. This included the preparation of the sale documents, the identification and approach of potential buyers, the supervision of the buy-side due diligence, as well as negotiations with several parties and support up to the signing and closing of the transaction.
