Terra Solar has sold a solar development portfolio to Power Capital Renewable Energy
Terra Solar II Limited has sold Terra Solar Energy Limited, a 400 MW solar development portfolio, to Power Capital Renewable Energy.
Terra Solar is at the forefront of solar energy development in Ireland, helping the country lead the way in developing renewable energy sources and increasing its energy independence. It was established to develop five solar projects situated in the Cork and Wexford counties.
Power Capital Renewable Energy is a solar energy development company established in Ireland in 2011. Since 2020, Power Capital has been backed by French private equity firm Omnes Capital.
Terra Solar is one of the leading solar development companies in Ireland. Its business model is to develop, finance, construct and operate solar farms on the island of Ireland. The company partners with commercial enterprises and private landowners to identify suitable sites for solar development and subsequently bring those sites from planning and grid approval stage through to fully operational solar farms. Terra Solar was founded by Andre Fernon and David Fewer in 2016. It is actively developing a pipeline of more than 600 MW of solar projects across Ireland.
