Matthias is a senior associate at Oaklins KBC Securities in Belgium with over three years’ experience in sell-side and buy-side M&A deals. He has advised clients across a range of sectors, including TMT, industrials, real estate and energy. Recent transactions include the sale of Wikipower to DPG Media and the fairness opinion of Recticel in light of Greiner’s public takeover bid.

Matthias joined the corporate finance department in 2020 after completing a successful internship. Prior to joining the firm, he interned at ABN AMRO’s M&A department in Amsterdam. Matthias has a master’s in business engineering from the Catholic University of Leuven, majoring in risk and finance.
