Giuseppe is a principal at Oaklins Italy, leading its investment banking division and responsible for the corporate finance, ECM, DCM and securitization teams. He also serves on Oaklins International’s executive committee as vice president for Europe and MENA. Experienced in Italian as well as cross-border transactions, he has consolidated relationships with corporates and financial sponsors active in Italy and abroad. He has successfully led deals from origination through execution in several sectors, including the acquisition of Arag Group by Capvis AG, the acquisition of a minority stake in Euro Group Laminations by Tikehau, the acquisition of a majority stake in Profiltubi S.p.A. by Auctus and the listing of Almawave. More recently, he advised ION on the tender offer for Cerved (business support services), White Bridge Investments on the acquisition of a majority stake in C.E.I. Costruzione Emiliana Ingranaggi S.p.A. (automotive) and Nutkao/White Bridge Investments on the acquisition of Pistì (food & beverage). Recent ECM deals include advising Industrial Stars of Italy 4 on its IPO, raising US$164 million, and Salcef Group SpA on the accelerated bookbuilding of newly issued shares to increase the free float and move to the STAR segment of Euronext Milan.

Giuseppe graduated in economics, chartered accountancy and auditing from the University of Palermo. He began his career in Banca Commerciale Italiana in the financial sponsors team. Before joining Oaklins Italy, Giuseppe worked for Mediobanca for over 10 years, where his last assignment was as head of investment banking – mid-corporate, and then for more than three years at Banca Akros as head of investment banking.
