Nick is a founding partner at SOCIOS, Oaklins’ member firm in Spain. Since 2013 he has been based in London, where he leads Oaklins’ attractions & leisure parks team and manages the firm’s Oaklins relationships. He has advised a wide range of multinational companies investing in and exiting Spain, including Accor Hotels, Deutsche Telecom, Dufry International, Masco Corporation, Peek Plc, Philip Holzman GmbH, Sun Chemical, Telemetrix Plc, 3i and Watmoughs (Holdings) Plc. In addition, he designed and led the first public-to-private transaction to take place on the Spanish stock market, the acquisition of Parques Reunidos by Advent International. He also advised on the first successful contested takeover by a Spanish company on the London Stock Exchange and led the financial advisory team on Spain’s then largest ever disposal by a private equity firm.

Nick is a British national and worked in Spain between 1988 and 2013 after being seconded from London by Citicorp Investment Bank to head up its Spanish and Portuguese M&A business. Nick sits on a number of boards of directors of companies based in the UK and Portugal.
