Jānis Lasmanis

Jānis is a partner at Oaklins Baltics in Riga. His main area of expertise is in manufacturing, although he also has an extensive track record in the automotive, energy, logistics and public sectors. Jānis has an excellent network covering a wide range of contacts among industry leaders and public sector decision makers. His most notable recent transactions are the MBO of GroGlass from NCH supported by Kartesia, the MBI of Smiltenes Piens supported by BPM Capital, the sale of Domenikss to Veho and the acquisition of Kafe Serviss on behalf of BaltCap-backed Coffee Address.

Jānis joined Oaklins Baltics in 2017. He has considerable experience in managing industry-leading manufacturing companies, both in Latvia and abroad, and he has led several companies through complex turnarounds, bringing them out of bankruptcy to sustainable profitability. Jānis has a Master of Business Administration from the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the BA School of Business and Finance.
