Sven-Åke is a senior partner at Oaklins Sweden. He has more than 30 years’ experience in advising clients on mergers, acquisitions and disposals. His key areas of expertise are in the healthcare, food & beverage and industrial manufacturing sectors. Sven-Åke also has extensive experience in representing buyers in cross-border transactions. Recent buy-side deals he has advised on include French company Naturex’s acquisition of Swedish Oat Fiber and Dutch ICT Group’s acquisition of Additude in Sweden. Another notable transaction is the divestment of a primary care division from the leading healthcare company Aleris in Sweden.
Sven-Åke joined the firm in 2005 when the advisory firm he founded, Growth Factory, merged with Oaklins Sweden. Prior to this, he was instrumental in the establishment of Ernst & Young’s corporate finance practice in Sweden, followed by a period with the world leading advisory firm CartaBoozAllenHamilton. On joining Bure Equity, a listed investment house, Sven-Åke led the corporate finance department and later the investment team, focusing on acquiring and developing a group of leading companies in the education and training sectors. Sven-Åke has an MSc in Business Administration and Economics.
