As a senior advisor for TM Capital, one of Oaklins’ US member firms, Greg celebrates 50 years of providing strategic and financial advice to businesses ranging in size from Fortune 500 to small private companies across a broad spectrum of industries. Beginning in corporate finance at Goldman Sachs & Co., he rose to vice president before accepting the position of executive VP and director at Thomson McKinnon Securities, Inc., TM’s predecessor, where he headed that firm’s investment banking and public finance activities. Greg led TM in joining Oaklins’ predecessor organization and served as president of that organization for several years. During his career, he has served as a director of several public and private companies in the consumer and industrial fields. Currently Greg serves as a trustee of the VMI Foundation and is chairman of VMI Investment Holdings, LLC, the primary endowment of the Virginia Military Institute.

Greg received a BS in Chemistry from the Virginia Military Institute and an MBA from the Darden Graduate Business School at the University of Virginia. Between VMI and Darden, Greg served as an officer in the Air Defense Artillery branch of the US Army and worked as a research chemist for E.I. du Port de Nemours and Company.
