BDS Vending Solutions has been acquired by Coca-Cola HBC Northern Ireland, a subsidiary of Coca-Cola HBC
February 2025 — Coca-Cola HBC Northern Ireland, a subsidiary of Coca-Cola HBC, has completed the acquisition of BDS Vending Solutions. This transaction is aligned with Coca-Cola HBC’s strategy to strengthen its route-to-market and direct-to-consumer capabilities, opening up new opportunities across its diverse portfolio of snacks, as well as cold and hot beverages.
BDS Vending is a leading provider of food and drink vending services, offering full-service solutions that include machine sales, supply, operation, servicing and customer support. The company also provides micro-market services to offices and other work environments. Founded in 1993 by David Mullan and Brian Berry, BDS Vending is headquartered in Dublin and primarily operates across Ireland, with minor operations in Northern Ireland. The company has depots in Dublin, Cork, Galway, Sligo, Limerick and Wexford. With a fleet of around 2,000 vending machines and a workforce of approximately 80 employees, BDS Vending serves a diverse customer base across over 1,000 locations. The company offers a wide range of products, including cold and hot beverages, snacks and a limited assortment of fresh food, across various channels such as workplace, education, healthcare, sports and leisure and entertainment.
