Chaipatr is executive chairman and chief executive officer at KTZ, Oaklins’ member firm in Thailand. He has over 25 years’ experience in the financial industry in areas such as management, equity, debt capital raising and M&A assignments.
Prior to this, Chaipatr co-founded CapMaxx Company Limited in 1999 to provide strategic services in the highly specialized areas of transaction structuring, mergers and acquisitions and direct investment in Thailand. In 1995 he was head of investment banking at Salomon Smith Barney in Thailand and successfully established it as the premier global investment bank in the country. Subsequently, he left to become director and executive director at Krung Thai Bank and an advisor to the chairman of the Telephone Organization of Thailand. Chaipatr has a Bachelor of Science (Metallurgy) from the Lehigh University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Illinois Benedictine College.
