Martyn is a director at Oaklins Smith & Williamson, one of Oaklins’ member firms in the UK. He has over 15 years’ corporate finance experience in advising clients across both the public and private sectors. He has extensive experience in leading corporate M&A projects, including acquisitions, disposals and fundraising. Martyn acts for clients across the UK and has undertaken a number of cross-border disposal assignments. He has extensive experience in UK capital markets, having been approved by the London Stock Exchange to act as a nominated adviser to companies seeking a listing on its growth capital market, AIM. Notable M&A deals he has led include the disposal of T Brewer to UK consolidator Grafton (building materials), the disposal of Information Management Group to Hitachi (business support services), the disposal of Horwood to Indian conglomerate TTK Prestige (consumer & retail) and the disposal of RAP to Japanese conglomerate, Yokogawa (TMT).

Martyn is a chartered accountant and member of the Corporate Finance Faculty of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
