Denis O'Brien has sold Saongroup Limited to StepStone GmbH for US$54 million.
Saongroup is a world leader in online recruitment. The business began in Ireland in 1995 with one site Irishjobs.ie, and now the group runs websites across 16 countries in Europe, Africa and America. Saongroup has over 300 employees worldwide.
StepStone is a German online job search engine and online career advisor. StepStone operates several job boards and niche job boards in Europe, Central America and Africa. Over 2,000 people in 21 countries aim at delivering the highest quality of service to all of their clients, ranging from small local players to big global corporations across all industry sectors.
