WOOD & Company City – OPF has acquired CIB Rental
June 2026 — WOOD & Company City – OPF (open-ended fund) has acquired a 100% stake in CIB Rental, s.r.o. from CIB Group. The fund’s investment is focused on the revitalization of a fully leased residential area in Prague–Písnice, Czech Republic, a popular residential district comprising family houses and apartment buildings. The location benefits from a newly extended tram line, fast access to the Prague Ring Road and a future Metro Line D station. The investment strategy aims to enhance the value of the asset through a high-quality urban redevelopment concept, including its functional integration with the surrounding local community.
WOOD & Company City – OPF is an open-ended fund for qualified investors focused on residential real estate investments. Its strategy is based on the revitalization of existing residential assets, with value creation driven by high-quality urban planning, redevelopment and active asset management.
CIB Rental, s.r.o. owns and manages a residential real estate portfolio comprising approximately 760 apartments. Developed in the late 1970s and early 1980s, these residential properties are located in the southern part of Prague.
CIB Group focuses on the leasing, management and development of its residential and office real estate portfolio. The group owns more than 1,300 apartments, representing approximately 80,000 square meters of residential floor area, and over 18,000 square meters of office space.

Terhills Resort by Center Parcs has been acquired by TwentyTwo Real Estate
Terhills Resort, a premium resort in Belgium combining luxury and nature located near Hoge Kempen National Park and operated by Center Parcs, has been sold by venture capitalist LRM to TwentyTwo Real Estate, an independent real estate investor and operator. Both the real estate and the operations were included in the transaction, and Center Parcs is staying on board as an operational partner.

Die Berner Group hat erfolgreich eine besicherte Private-Credit-Finanzierung über EUR 20 Mio. zur Finanzierung der Repositionierung einer ehemaligen Rehabilitationsklinik in ein Studentenwohnheim im Rhein-Main-Gebiet abgeschlossen.
Die Finanzierung wurde von einem spezialisierten Real-Estate-Debt-Fonds bereitgestellt und über drei Tranchen strukturiert. Diese Struktur bildet die wesentlichen Anforderungen der Transaktion ab: die Refinanzierung bestehender Verbindlichkeiten, die Finanzierung von CAPEX-Maßnahmen sowie Betriebs- und Vermietungskosten während der Repositionierungsphase und eine bedingte Tranche im Zusammenhang mit der Umsetzung von Brandschutz- und Sanierungsmaßnahmen. Die Finanzierung wurde durch ein übliches Sicherheitenpaket abgesichert, unter anderem durch eine erstrangige Grundschuld. Gleichzeitig erforderte die Struktur lediglich einen Cash-Equity-Beitrag des Sponsors von rund 1%, was die Qualität des zugrunde liegenden Assets und Business Plans unterstreicht.
Aupark Bratislava has completed a debt refinancing
Aupark Bratislava has successfully secured US$320 million in bank financing. The facility refinances the existing debt and provides an additional top-up facility, making it one of the largest real estate financing transactions in the Slovak market. The financing was provided by a syndicate of five banking groups comprising UniCredit Bank, ČSOB (KBC), ING, Tatra banka (Raiffeisen) and VÚB banka (Intesa Sanpaolo). UniCredit Bank acted as the coordinator, leading the syndicate’s execution.
