Powerway Group Co., Ltd. has acquired Berkenhoff GmbH from Nexpert AG, a private equity firm. Financial details have not been disclosed.
Powerway Group is a leading global supplier of non-ferrous alloys, covering six business units: non-ferrous metal alloy; cutting wire and fine alloy wire; precision parts processing and manufacturing; kitchen and bathroom appliance; photovoltaic solar products; and mining.
Berkenhoff GmbH is a leading manufacturer of spark erosion wires, brazing and welding wires, and electronic and special wires. With its umbrella brand bedra, the company offers complete production services from a single source: casting, rolling, drawing, annealing and electroplating.
With offices in Hamburg, Dusseldorf and Munich, Nexpert AG specializes in the operative and financial restructuring of industrial enterprises.
