TTTech Computertechnik AG has sold its minority stake in Avionics Interface Technologies to Teradyne, Inc. Financial details have not been disclosed.
Avionics Interface Technologies (AIT) is a leading designer and manufacturer of high-performance flight modules, test and simulation modules, embedded solutions, databus analyzers and support systems for both the commercial aerospace and defense industries. AIT was founded in 2000, and has consistently delivered the most advanced testing modules to the defense and avionics markets.
Teradyne is the leading supplier of automatic test equipment used to test semiconductors, wireless products, data storage and complex electronic systems for consumers, communications, industrial and government customers.
TTTech is the leading supplier of dependable networking solutions based on time-triggered technology and modular safety platforms.
Oaklins' team in Austria advised TTTech Computertechnik AG on the disposal of its minority shareholding in Avionics Interface Technologies to Teradyne. AIT now operates as an independent division within Teradyne’s Defense and Aerospace business unit.
