Office Centre has acquired the German retail and online activities of Staples
Office Centre has acquired the German retail and online activities of Staples Europe. The company’s Office Centre brand was re-introduced after the shareholders acquired Staples' Dutch retail activities in 2018.
Headquartered in Almere, the Netherlands, Office Centre is the leading supplier of office equipment to the Dutch SME market. The company operates through the Office Centre and KantoorExpert brands. The former retail activities of Staples Germany will be rebranded and incorporated within the organization. With this acquisition, the company's network of over 40 retail locations in the Netherlands is expanded with approximately 60 locations in Germany.
Staples (Deutschland) is the German subsidiary of Staples Europe, the leading provider of workplace products, services and solutions to small, mid-sized and large businesses in Europe. Staples Europe operates through three business channels: retail, online and advantage, its B2B division.
