Delaware Valley Floral Group has been acquired by Staple Street Capital
The owners of Delaware Valley Floral Group, Inc. (DVFG) have sold the company to Staple Street Capital.
Founded in 1959 by the Wilkins family, Delaware Valley Floral Group is a third-generation family-owned business, and the family will continue to hold a significant stake post-close. DVFG offers the industry’s broadest assortment of fresh cut flowers and floral supplies to thousands of independent retail florists and supermarket customers. Headquartered in Sewell, New Jersey, the group leverages a regional hub-and-spoke distribution network, comprised of 11 strategically located distribution centers, combined with cold chain infrastructure and multi-state direct store delivery capabilities to serve as a mission critical partner to its suppliers and customers.
Headquartered in New York City, Staple Street Capital is a private equity firm with approximately US$900 million of capital under management which invests in market-leading businesses where there are transformational opportunities to create value.
Oaklins TM Capital in the US served as the exclusive financial advisor to Delaware Valley Floral Group, Inc. in its sale to Staple Street Capital.
