Angela Chen

Angela is the CEO and co-founder of Oaklins HFG China. Her professional banking experience spans over two decades. With her extensive experience in cross-border transactions and her deep understanding of corporate strategies, financing, and corporate restructuring and integration, Angela has led and participated in a number of cross-border M&A transactions, both on the buy-side and the sell-side. She has also assisted Chinese companies go public in Hong Kong, the USA and in European markets. Angela has particular expertise in consumer & retail, business services, advanced manufacturing and food & beverage, and she has broad experience in other industries, including healthcare, technology and education. Notable clients she has advised are Xella Group, Somerelle, REC Silicon, ACM Research, CAAS and Wonder Auto.

Angela has written on the subject of cross-border M&A in "The Road of Capital" (published in 2014), which ranked in the top three M&A management books on Amazon China and Dangdang.com in that year. The book provides tactical guidance to owners and leaders of middle-market businesses in China on how they can engage in overseas acquisitions. Angela has an MBA from the University of Chicago.
