Yxion has been acquired by Normec
Normec has acquired Dutch consultancy Yxion from Antea. Through this acquisition, Normec continues its acquisition strategy in Europe, while also looking for expansion opportunities in the United States.
Yxion is a consulting firm specializing in the pharmaceutical, biotech, food and medical devices sectors. Established in 2002, Yxion offers a wide range of compliance advisory services to support its clients in the design, implementation and operation of critical systems, processes and projects. Yxion’s services are divided into three focus areas: commissioning and qualification, engineering and project management, and quality assurance.
Founded in 2016 by Joep Bruins, Normec has grown into a leading European provider of testing, inspection, certification and compliance (TICC) services, with more than 5,000 employees across six European countries. Normec’s areas of expertise range from water, air and soil quality to fire safety, food safety and management systems.
Antea is a private equity firm headquartered in the Netherlands specializing in growth capital, management buy-outs and management buy-ins.
